• Quiet well maintained site a stones through from seafront – Site is easy to find and access. Owners very proactive in regards to arrivals and keeping you informed of gaining access and site rules. Location is second to none – its is perfect. In a short walk you have the amazing Strandhill beach, Knocknarea mountain and plenty of dining options. Also only 9km to Sligo town. Could not ask for any more. Site was spotless. Plenty of bins – both general and recycling – they must be constantly emptied because I have not seen them full. Bathrooms were also spotless despite the amount of people using them. Plenty of hot water in wash up room too (which had alot of sinks). Felt very safe and secure on site. Great family atmosphere. There is a €20 deposit for fob for bathrooms which is returned when you check out. The best thing about this site is the location – practically on the beach and within a couple of minutes of the town (try the pizza in the strand bar – very tasty!) Highly recommend and will be back again first chance we get! Stayed April 2024
• Felt safe, secure, and satisfied – This campsite is right in Strandhill, beside the beach, and beside the restaurants. The facilites, the toilets and shower rooms were immaculately kept. We had a most enjoyable time here. We felt cared for and any queries were promptly addressed. Stayed April 2024
• Well kept campsite – We stayed at Strandhill campsite for 4 nights the end of June. Well done to the Team and Staff in charge of the site. They have the site looking very well. It was very clean and tidy. Kitchen area kept clean and showers and toilet areas cleaned on a regular basis. It is up to all of us to do our bit to keep it like this. Staff friendly and helpful and available if needed. Lots to do in the area and surrounding area. Fantastic new Surf Centre opened. Great place for kids. Stayed June 2023
