  • FantasticFantastic place to stay, lovely views, clean, lovely chilled out vibe can?t rate it highly enough. Can?t wait to go back. Niall lovely host very helpful and friendly.we didn?t get the weather we hoping for but it didn?t matter really enjoyed it anyway. Stayed August 2023
  • A one night stay which I could have happy extended. Really lovely host who came across to give us a map and show us the best route around the Loop. He?s obviously doing more improvements to it but the toilets, shower block and kitchen were all immaculate. Stayed August 2023
  • Excellent Campsite – 6/5 stars! – Fantastic family run campsite in the west of Clare. The owner Niall was very welcoming informative about the area and gave us a map of loophead and took time to describe the map and tell us what fun stuff there was to do in the local area! We stayed in a 2 bedroom mobile which was right in front of the sea with a beautiful deck overlooking the shannon estuary. There was a small green area right beside our mobile where the children could play and we could keep an eye on them and there was a bigger green area right behind the mobile. The beach which was just off the park was lovely when the tide was in and very child friendly. There was also another beach called Glosheen, a sandy cove which was only a 5 min drive. Kilkee is a 10 min drive and has shops, beaches, ice-cream shops, restaurants and the pollock holes which is worth a visit. The mobile itself was very clean and spacious as were the facilities for campers. It included pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, etc. a TV and cleaning supplies. If you have a pet it is best to mention it while booking and all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. There are also no dogs allowed that are a cross-breed or on the ‘dangerous dog list’. It was a lovely stay and a great way to start off the summer, wish we booked another few weeks, will definitely be back in the next few months! Stayed June 2023
