What a fabulous place to stay – We loved our stay here in April 2024. My husband, 3 children and I stayed in a basic pod. It was perfect for us. A cupboard is provided for your food in the kitchen and also a shelf in the fridge. The kitchen was spotless, so clean. We cooked and ate at Top Of The Rock which was so easy for us.Our children loved the animals and David makes the experience so enjoyable for them, involving children in feeding the animals in the evening and in the morning. The baby lamb, goats and rabbits , our children adored. The campfire is fabulous and toasting the marsh mallows was great fun and is something we would never do at home.
Everything quietened down before 11 PM so everyone got a lovely sleep. The walks in the area are beautiful and so authentic through the fields and down to the river. We cannot wait to come back again and must say it’s like old authentic Ireland , that we see less and less of now. My children are aged 14 12 and 8 and they loved it! Stayed April 2024
- A wonderful experience – This is a well run campsite set in beautiful surroundings. The owners make you feel truly welcome, the facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. The pet animals are an added bonus, especially if you have young children, they have a feeding routine where the children can help to feed the goats, rabbits, bantams, ducks, pet lambs and a donkey. My only wish is that I had stayed here much longer. My son and I had a wonderful time, thank you David and Elizabeth, we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Ireland. Stayed April 2023
- Over night stay with our Campervan – We had stayed here with our campervan for 1 night, it is a beautiful location and was very quite even though there was alot of kids about enjoying the farm animals, David was very welcoming and helpful with everything, shower and toilet facilities were very clean. Would stay again. Stayed April 2024
