Our favourite campsite – This is one of our favourite campsites. It’s got everything, stunning views, great facilities, helpful staff, nearby shop and pub and close to beautiful tourist spots. Siobhan and Liz and staff ,run this campsite so that facilities are pristine and it’s a safe area for children and a quiet place at night. Bathrooms, wash up areas are cleaned to a very high standard, with free showers providing all day hot water. Being able to camp right on the waters edge and waking up in the morning to look out at the sea, fantastic! There were whales around this weekend so great fun watching them. We usually bring the kayaks but knew the weather wasn’t great so left them at home, but kids enjoyed a swim in the sea and a paddle in the rock pools. At the gate of the campsite is a large Centra with a home ware shop so everything from morning coffee and croissants to a lump hammer for the tent pegs!! Bantry is only 3 miles in the road, and Glengarriff not far the other direction. The office is full of local information and the girls on reception are very helpful. I could go on, this campsite is highly recommended. You will go back. Stayed August 2023
- Beautiful Park – 5 stars – This park is excellent in every way. The location is perfect and the scenery is stunning. It is very well run, there are strict rules which is one of the many reasons we love it. No noise at night which is a must for us. The park is so well maintained and the facilities are always spotless. 5 stars ? Stayed July 2023
- The best campsite – This campsite is so well kept and maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean, the showers, toilets, grounds, even the bins area. Staff are super helpful. The location is perfect between Bantry and Glengarriff. The centre across the road caters specifically for campers. Mannings Emporium is a short walk away and a great spot for some food. The views from the campsite are stunning with lovely private stone beaches for kids. 10/10 Stayed May 2023
