Reviews

  • Great mountain location – Incredible setting nestled among beautiful mountains . Great advice from owner where to visit . Many gorgeous places in close proximity, west cork islands especially. We had a wonderful visit to the island with the Italian gardens, seeing seals and an eagle on route . So good we stayed a second night ! Stayed April 2024
  • Campsite that has all the expected but offers your stay more than almost any camp site in Cork and Kerry – Excellent campsite, camping kitchen, laundry area spotless. Shower facilities as good as any. Huge plus was the onsite bar, bar food was good. Choice of multiple beers and the nights we were there there was music followed by the most lovely sing song. Fantastic. Stayed August 2023
  • Fantastic location great family campsite 🏕 – Relaxing family campsite with free Wi-Fi across the site. Superb location. Excellent facilities with first class (free) showers and toilet blocks, and laundry. Two campers kitchens equipped with microwave, kettle, sink and lots of worktop space for your own gas hobs. Fall asleep to the sound of the river in this picturesque leafy green site. It’s well maintained, a mixture of statics, caravans and tents across the beautifully landscaped site. Fantastic location for accessing the Beara ring, pretty town of Glengariff and the must visit Garnish island. We enjoyed the short boat ride to the island, the highlight being spotting numerous seals on the shores of the surrounding islands. Also close to Bantry bay with a wide selection of shops bars and restaurants. Nicky the site manager was so helpful to us when our gas cannister failed. You couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable friendly host. The site has a bar open from Wednesday until the weekend. Great for unwinding without having to worry about driving home. There is also a lounge with tv just off reception. There is designated space for playing ball games, walking dogs on leads and a lovely playground for children. A great campsite whatever the weather. Our family of four highly recommend if you like camping with good facilities on hand . Stayed August 2023
