You can pick up your motorhome from a range of companies right around the country and take to the roads at your leisure. Motorhomes and caravans are very self-sufficient with plenty sleeping room, fully equipped cooking area, some have toilet and shower on board, have access to electric points and all give you the freedom to travel around at your leisure. Sites will have electric hook-up where you can hook-up your motorhome or caravan and have full power for the night. 2. Mobile home hire

A number of parks have mobile homes/static caravans on site which you can hire for a week, weekend or mid-week break. All mobile homes are full equipped with a comprehensive range of cooking equipment and kitchen utensils. Some parks also supply TVs in their mobile homes. Models and sizes vary so please check when booking. You can enjoy the joys of a camping park holiday with a roof over your head. Mobile homes are very spacious and are really suitable for a family holiday.

3. Glamping

While the idea of spending a night in a tent may not be everyone’s fancy, many still want to experience waking up in the great Irish outdoors. If you’re the type who likes some creature comforts but wants to get back in touch with nature and take part in some of the best outdoor activities on offer around Ireland, then glamping is the perfect holiday for you.

Glamping is another word for Glamorous Camping and can take many forms from bell tents, log cabins, microlodges, romany caravans, Pods, even tree houses. Many parks throughout Ireland now offer glamping facilities. Glamping units range in size from 2 to 4 berths.

4. Buying your own

If the bug has taken you and now you want to buy your own motorhome, caravan or tent there are some great companies offering great deals on the latest equipment. New or second hand motorhomes or caravans can be bought from a number of companies offering great deals and more importantly the security of buying from reputable firms offering security and guarantees.
